MAGIC TOURISM

In the Andes of Peru, Christianity has melted with practices from ancient cultures, to give birth to Andean Cosmovision, which is still being practiced today.
This religion, like others, has norms for moral that are based on theological principles and derived from the peoples’ conception of their gods.
For them, “ILLA TECSE WIRACOCHA PACHA YACHACHEC” is the supreme god and creator of the World, “TUNUPA” is the god that brought virtue to humanity and “INTI” (Sun), “KILLA” (Moon), those “APUS” (Mountains), are the smaller gods.
Astrologers, metaphysicians and practitioners of the occult all believe that the most important center of magnetic energy for the age of Aquarius is in the Peruvian Andes, exactly in the region of Vilcanota, along the slopes of Lake Titicaca and in the Valley of Wilcamayo, the sacred valley of the Incas, where Machu Picchu is located.
This bioenergetic center which stimulates the body, mind and spirit, is a primary attraction for the non-traditional tourist with an interest in mysticism and religion.

CUSCO MYSTIC
The Sacred city of Cusco is bioenergetic center of great magnetic power, a fact which has been demonstrated by quantum physics, the theory of electromagnetic fields and transpersonal psychology. Dr. Cecilia Peace Schieffer, a psychologist who has studied such phenomena for many years, says: “The bioenergy of this place derives not merely from the Earth but from the macro cosmos and has a powerful healing effect, providing energy to all that arrive in this city”.   magic

ANDEAN SHAMAN
The shaman can be understanding like a “wiseman”. He has special gifts that make him the community shaman and is actually called “Chaman”.

There are kinds of shamans:

ALTOMISAYOC
, a shaman that perfects his knowledge over the years, receives power from lightening and interprets dreams as revelations from Apus.
He officiates in Andean rites, prepares and leaves offerings in sacred places to ensure good health and he can also read the coca leaves.

HUATOC
(Prophet), a shaman with special powers that enable him to divine the mental and physical health of his patients through coca, corn, snails, candle flames, and ashes.
His powers also enable him to locate thieves and other causes of uneasiness in the community.

LAIK´A
, a shaman with negative power from bad spirits. He is able to cause business failure, the destruction of homes, and even death. The Laik’a specialize in preparing dangerous concoctions but are also experts in preparing love charms.

PAMPAMISAYOC
, a rural shaman with smaller powers.
He prepares offerings for fertility that are dedicated to the Mother Earth; they are known as the guardians of the rivers in their area.

COCA, RITUAL ELEMENT OF GREAT IMPORTANCE
ERITROXYLON are the leaves of the coca plant, well known for more than 3,000 years in the Andes. The use of these leaves as an anesthetic in pre-Columbian surgery and their magic and religious value have been documented by the archaeology. Even today, Andean cultures still use this plant daily, and it remains a valued symbol of ethnic identity.

SACRED PLACES (“WACAS”) IN THE CITY
A “Waca” is a sacred site for occult ceremonies.
In Cuzco there are a variety of important “wacas”:

Q´oricancha, the site of the first Convent (Santo Domingo) in South America. It is said that during Incan times, the internal quarters were lined with sheets of gold and silver.
People from all parts of the Incan empire came here to present offerings to their God. Q’oricancha is believed to be the most important temple of it’s time.

Sacsayhuaman, a cosmic energy circle, called “Muyoc Marka,” it is a site where geo-magnetic energy is assimilated.

Qenqo, an impressive site that demonstrates the three conceptual planes of the Andean religion: “Ukhu Pacha,” “Kay Pacha,” and “Hanaq Pacha.” (This is a site of Mama Pacha’s electromagnetic energy.)
The Temple of the Moon, an important site for powerful occult ceremonies.

Tambomachay, a temple dedicated to water, a basic element of life that rises from Mother Nature; the rite of the “Challado de K´uyas” is performed here.

Inti Watana de Pisac, a place for holistic practices in the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

Ollantaytambo, a typical Andean town that surrounds archaeological sites and has great ethnic importance.
Here, one can see genuine Incan houses and buildings, and there are temples of great power to the great Tunupa, who was sent by Wiracocha to bring virtue to his people.

Pisac Machu Picchu is the greatest spiritual center ever imagined, surrounded by guardian rivers and situated in a place of perfect harmony between man and God.
Here one can see temples, altars, and observatories where cosmic rituals and mystic initiations were practiced. Visiting this center of magnetic energy during a moonlit night enhances all magical intentions because of the feminine energy caused by Mama Killa (Mother Moon).
